The Umuahia Township Stadium is a stadium in Umuahia Nigeria and the home ground of Abia Warriors F.C. that played the Nigeria Premier League and CAF champions league. Abia Comets F.C. also play their home games on the pitch, Capacity of the stadium is 5,000.
Umuahia is situated nearby to Ohokobe Ndume. It features a playground for children and is ranked as 17th out of 33 locations in that region.
In 2014, the League Management Company, LMC, organisers of the Glo Premier League, granted its approval for the renovated Umuahia Township Stadium to host Premier League games in that season. It was also renovated by the state government. Abia Warriors Football Club gained promotion to compete in the Glo Premier League during that season and hosted Kaduna United at the stadium on the March 9, 2014 in its first match in the elite league.
