Daniel Amobi Amadi Anyiam was a Nigerian football player and coach who led the country twice as its national coach, from 1954 to 1956 and 1964 to 1965.

He was a player before becoming a coach, and he captained the national team for the first time in 1949.

After the Nigerian Civil War, he was the first coach of the Enugu Rangers and a selector for the national team.

He worked briefly in the press office of the West African Pilot before joining the staff of U.A.C. in Lagos, where he also played football.

He was the captain when U.A.C. won the Governor’s Cup in 1950.
